TVIPL uses advanced techniques such as seismic refraction, multi-channel analysis of surface waves (MASW), ground-penetrating radar (GPR), electrical resistivity, and borehole seismic tomography.
TVIPL is a pioneer in India for using echo sounders with DGPS for creating Digital Terrain Models and was among the first to introduce the Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey technique in the country.
